The Healthsmart Fair is an excellent way to reach out and make a small but important difference for kids in our local community. Through this project we will be going to local elementary schools through the Costa Mesa, Santa Ana, and Pomona school districts, and presenting the students with fun games and interactive presentations to teach them about good hygiene. This fair is meant to teach young children many aspects of good hygiene, health eating habits, the importance of exercise, and the bad effects of alcohol and drugs. Volunteers must be active paid members of iMED and must attend all mandatory training meetings. This is a good way to give something back to the community that you live in, and any help makes a big difference.
