The Global Actions Project gives our members the opportunity to take our local projects abroad as well as volunteer our services alongside doctors at local clinics. This is the first year we will try to successfully bring both the Orphanage Project as well as a complete HealthSmart project along with us to local schools and orphanages. Besides our own projects, members will be able to work at local clinics and/or hospitals alongside stateside doctors. The tasks can vary anywhere from patient intake to psychiatric evaluations to even scrubbing in for surgeries. This year we plan on having two projects; both of which will bring us to South America. Though proficiency in Spanish is no required, it is to your advantage since the doctors are in constant need for translators. With this project, we can take our local successes and bring them worldwide.
